Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences - Ten years

Ten years ago the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS) was established at the Utrecht University. At start IRAS had two divisions, Toxicology and Environmental Epidemiology. In 2005 the division Veterinary Public Health was added. IRAS has a staff of about 150 people and is supported by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science, and also by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and TNO Quality of Life.

Friday, June 18 2010, we will celebrate 10 years of IRAS. The program is still under development, but is sure to provide an excellent opportunity to meet at an informal level. There will be a day program as well as an evening celebration, in separate but both exquisite historic locations in the old city of Utrecht.

We cordially invite colleagues and friends, and especially alumni to join us on June 18, 2010.
